The Sanitation Control Procedures, training is intended to assist the seafood industry in developing and implementing “Sanitation Control Procedures” as mandated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Seafood processors are required to ‘monitor’ sanitary control procedures used during processing in order to show their compliance with good sanitary conditions and practices. Likewise, seafood importers must verify that the seafood being imported was processed in accordance with the same FDA mandated HACCP requirements that include sanitation monitoring procedures and records.
Our course includes photos and real –time examples of SCP non-compliances. We show you the difference between right and wrong, provide examples of record-keeping procedures, and help you interpret the regulation so you are prepared for a visit from regulatory authorities. This course is only offered on a private closed course basis and fees are based on location and number of students.
